pray

The poor old man's name is Mohamed Hashim bin Tarmizi. Can I ask all of you to help me pray for this man's well being? Pray that he'll get out of this a strong, healthy old man. And that my friend would be safe and learn well from this experience. That we all should be more careful when driving on the road, regardless or not if there was a pedestrian crossing.

Today was a horrible day. I attended the Tan Sri Loy Hean Heong Merit Scholarship Award ceremony this morning to accept the scholarship from 'em. Boring process, met my mom's goddaughter there and stuff.

I decided to follow my friend back after that, instead of taking the bus. I thank God that I made that decision. If I wasn't there, I'm not sure what my friend would do. Traumatized and crying, praying that the man would be okay.

My friend and I, she was driving, after we dropped another friend back at her home, we exited Brickfields towards Bangsar Jaya through Jalan Bangsar. As we were going, we saw a man crossing the road. She honked and brake and yet he didn't avoid us. She moved to the extreme right, barely inches away from the concrete divider. And he walked straight our path.

It was scary. The sound. The glass shattering. I was in the passenger seat when it happened. We immmediately stopped and parked the car at the right hand side of the road. We got down and went beside the uncle. He was bleeding profusely, blood on his hands, his face, his cheekbones fractured and chin grazed.

I immediately called the ambulance and had a hard time describing where we were. Motorbikes were stopping to help us. Some were helpful and some just blocking the way. A motorist called the ambulance once more for us and I waited, while she attended to the guy, praying and hoping that he would be fine. I told her that everything would be fine, and he would survive this.

One of the motorists had advised my friend to park the car at the left hand side of the road, and here came another fucking motorcylist. She was saying stuffs like, how it was a hit and run and fuck. I wanted to fucking punch her. She was insulting us, insulting my friend, who she thought had neglected our duties as good Samaritans to help this poor old man that she had hit.

Advise to people who want to stop and stare: Don't fucking stop and stare. STOP AND HELP.

The ambulance came and they were attending to his injury. He was smiling, trying to comfort my friend. A policeman was on his way home to fetch his children to school, but he stopped and advised us on what to do. We were to follow the ambulance to the hospital to check on him, to see if he would be fine. She was traumatized, she couldn't drive. So I drove the car with the shattered glass, trying to keep up with the high speed that the ambulance was driving at.

We reached the University Hospital and immediately went to the Trauma dan Kecemasan entrance and checked on him. His condition wasn't that stable but the attendees assured us that he would be fine. His son was contacted and we then waited for our mothers to arrive.

Mm, regarding the post on Friday.. Scrap that. :)

It was one of my mini mood swings that went too high over the bar and swung 360 degrees back to the original position. Thus, I'm fine. I'm GREAT! Never been better.

Why?

..

Cause I freaking took a picture with my sit_beside_me_in_class partner! HAHA. In your face, Julius!

Oh well. :)

That and I just finished one of the cover pages for the yearbook. So yeahhhh. Kinda happy with the results. Can't wait for the Ed Board meeting tomorrow. :)

I'm. Sick.

My MSN's so idle right now. It makes me sick. Facebook's idle too. T4YP people ignoring my messages. It's annoying the sheet out of me.

I can't take this anymore. Like seriously, wth? So fine, I'm a horrible person. Ignore me for all you care. Cause I really do care. I can't live without attention. I can't go through the whole day without talking to anybody. I'll cry.

So you'll call me gay if I cry? I don't give a fuck. I'm sick of people stereotyping people. It makes me so fucking uneasy to even fucking walk through the corridors of any place. Especially in college. The stares that I get. I don't even know how to interpret them.

It's like WMS all over again for me. Maybe it's just type of person I am. The tendency to be so perasan. Well, I don't know. So yeah.

I'm.

Not feeling well atm.

Gotta wake up for Honour's Day tomorrow which I'm so not looking forward to.

camwhore

I've been wanting to write this.. thought for a long while now. Anyways, it'll be short, cause I need to study for my LAN freaking test tomorrow. :O

The Reason Why I Camwhore

Looking back into my mom's photo albums of myself and my brother, I noticed that I didn't have much pictures of myself for what reasons I do not know.

I feel that pictures really do say a thousand words. Or more, really. It won't be one word less and just be, a thousand words and beyond. The power of pictures, the message that it conveys, is truly important.

There're many reasons why people take pictures in general. I myself aren't a photographer, so I might not be right on this. But I feel that pictures, capture moments of your lives that you really want to capture. For instance, you spotted your friend digging his nose and found it really funny. *click* You snapped a picture and there, it's frozen for eternity, for your amusement and what not.

To me, camwhoring is pretty much the same thing. I grab my friend's shoulders, fit myself into the picture (most of the time it's just my head) and *click*. There, now I can look back at the picture and won't really forget who my friends were in the future. It also captures emotions, the unwillingness of someone to have their pictures taken and immortalized within a digital 256k colours RGB format.

Camwhoring by myself however, is a different thing. Frankly, I do it to satisfy myself. Cause, to start loving other people, you must first love yourself. That's what I think. If you don't like yourself, how are you able to like other people? Well, you can but that's just what I think. It's something I'm trying out, really. A theory, if you want to put a name to it. Call it Arthur's theory of loving a friend. I don't care.

Taking pictures of other people, capturing that very moment, be it sadness, happiness, quirkiness and whatever, is golden. If you were sad in one point of life, and look back at the picture, you'd go, "What the hell, was I really like that?" It'd be a reason for you to move forward, a reason to actually not look back at past and concentrate on what's important in the future instead.

Well, there're also reasons such as but not limited to, taking pictures of that one hot guy for your fellow female friends and also stalking THAT FREAKING CUTE GIRL that your classmate really likes.

Heh, oh well. That's what I think. It's up to you to decide, for what reason you camwhore or take pictures. It'd be better if you would start camwhoring too after reading this dear ol' thought of mine. :)

Sigh, better blog now while everything's still in my head.

I ate dinner at 7.30pm today, so that I can leave by 7.45pm for my audition at KLPac at 8.30pm.

I wasn't entirely prepared, I picked out a monologue the day before and was memorizing it on my way to the auditions. Well, of course I did start memorizing in the afternoon today, but it wasn't enough. ):

I parked my car in the parking lot and walked towards the big glass building which I've seen a million times. (Figuratively) In my hands held my monologue book, a file, a bottle of water and my car keys. As I walked up the stairs, I started to get more nervous and nervous. Until I reached the top, I was already walking nervously towards Modee, the registration person.

And Nick Dorian was there too. Just to kacau us people. As if I wasn't more nervous than ever! :O :O :O

Then Modee was like, "Hey Arthur, what're you doing here?" And there I was thinking, was he serious? xD Omg, he forgot to put my name down! Sighhhh. Made me MORE nervous.

Okay, you get it. I WAS DEATHLY AFRAID. Anyways, masuk bilik time. :O Handed in the form to Joe Hasham, then shook my hands and introduced myself with the other auditionees.

"Arthur," Joe said. I wasn't sure whether to stand or not? So I just stood up anyway.

..

AND SO. That was how I screwed up my first song. Yeap, sang Amazing Grace unprepared-ly, if there's such a word. :O Homggg.

THEN I screwed up monologue.

..

LASTLY I screwed up the basic 4 6 4 6 dance thingy.

Oh well. ):

Time to cancel out "Audition for a musical. ♪" from my 2009 resolutions! At least I've went for the auditions, right? xD
